Here's a list of general questions regarding the fansite and the game as a whole.  More will get added onto here as more questions get asked.

Secret of the Solstice FAQs

Q: Is SoS still available for play?

A: No. Secret of the Solstice was officially shut down in August 11, 2011. It's successor Solstice: Reborn soon followed suit  in November 16, 2011.

Q: Are there other versions of SoS available for play?

A: No. While there were other versions of the games including Xenepic Online and Xen Online, both versions have shut down though the official forums and relevant media for the games may still be active.

Q: Will SoS be available for play at a later date?

A: It is hard to tell as this current time. However, it seems unlikely that the game will ever be officially picked up by another gaming company.

SoS Fansite FAQs

Q: Can anyone join the sosfansite?

A: Yes, registration is open to everyone interested. However, it would be preferred if the person(s) joining has either played or knows about SoS.

Q: Can anyone post in the 'News' page?

A: No. Only administrators of the site are allowed to post on the "News' page. However, if there is something a member would like to post on that page, you are more than welcome to post it in the appropriate thread and if approved will be posted by one of the site administrators.

Q: Can anyone post in the 'Photos' and 'Videos' page?

A: Yes, anyone who is a member of this site can post in those pages. However, only moderators and administrators can create albums, and only administrators can edit the categories. Again if you would like to add albums, please post in the proper thread and if approved the page will be updated with the change.

Q: Can anyone post in the forums and create new sections?

A: Yes, anyone who is a member can post in the main forums and make new threads. However, only administrators can add new sections to the forums.

Q:What's the 'Links' page for?

A: To be honest, I have no idea. When SoS was still running, I had planned to place links for helpful guides, the official website, related content on the page. For right now though, it will probably not have much on it for a while, and will be used to post links on recent news about SoS, etc.

Q: What's with the chatroom?

A: The chatroom is there for people who are currently on the site to talk to one another. You don't need to be logged into the site to chat in there, but it'd be easier to communicate if you pick a name others can recognise you by. I will probably make a separate IRC channel for members of the site.

Q: Can anyone post a poll onto the 'Polls' page?

A: No, unfortunately the site doesn't allow for the polls to be handled by members, so only administrators have the ability to create and update polls. However, there is a thread for poll suggestions available for members to post in.

Q: Is this all there is for the SoS fansite?

A: No, even though this site was made a while ago, it has only recently been updated and improved and it is nowhere near finished. There will be changes made to the fansite as time goes on, pages may be deleted, other pages may be added, and the content may change. So keep checking up for updates and other news.
